Rather than checking again if your period has come, try doing some reading:
You aren't a PollyAnna for ordering the What-to-Expect book before you're expecting.
Page 1 starts off with "Before you conceive" and you don't get to "Week 1 of pregnancy" until P. 120.
And it's good to get a glimpse of where things will go eventually, hopefully.
You can also read the trying to conceive (ttc) section on WhatToExpect.com. The site has
information straight out of the book, and the message boards are an excellent source of moral support.
For those of you who dislike the conversational tone of WTEWYE, (some have said, "patronizing" and "alarmist") you may prefer the Mayo Clinic's version.
